This manual provides instructions for the proper use and care of your Canon Lens Hood EW-88F. Operating the Lens Hood

Reverse Mounting for Storage

For compact storage, the EW-88F lens hood can be mounted in reverse on the lens. To do this:

1. Detach the lens hood as described above.

2. Turn the lens hood around so the wider opening faces the camera body.

3. Align the mounting grooves and push the hood onto the lens, then rotate until it locks. This position allows for easier transport but prevents lens use.
