The keypad requires one 9V alkaline battery (not included). To install:
- Open the keypad casing.
- Connect the 9V battery to the battery clip.

- On the 420001 keypad, enter the 10-digit code corresponding to your receiver's dip switch settings. Refer to the keypad's internal instructions for specific key presses to represent ON, OFF, or MIDDLE positions.
- Press the "ACCESS" button to save the code.
- Test the keypad to ensure it operates your garage door or gate opener.
